What does SocialKosher do?

It opens Instagram and Facebook through a filter you set yourself. Every post, Story and reel is checked before it reaches you, and anything that doesn’t meet your levels is left out.

Will I see blurred or blocked posts?

No. Posts that don’t meet your levels are left out entirely, with no gap and no notice. Your feed simply flows on.

Is anything I see sent to your servers?

No. Photos, videos and posts are never uploaded to us. We only receive counts of what was hidden, like how many and for which level, so we can keep the filter working well.

Do you see my passwords?

No. You log in to Instagram and Facebook as usual, and we never see or store your passwords.

Can I change my levels later?

Any time, in Settings. Raising or lowering a level takes effect at once.

Is explicit content always removed?

Yes, at every level, even if you choose to hide nothing else.

Which apps does it work with?

Instagram and Facebook, with the same levels on both. Feeds, Stories and Reels are all checked.

Which phones does it work on?

iPhone and Android. Download SocialKosher from the App Store or Google Play.

Do I have to use Shabbat mode?

No. Shabbat mode is optional, and it stays off until you turn it on.

How much does it cost?

SocialKosher is a yearly or monthly subscription through the App Store or Google Play. You can cancel any time in your store account.

Is SocialKosher part of Instagram or Facebook?

No. SocialKosher is independent and not affiliated with Instagram, Facebook or Meta.
